Essential concerts and events of the summer in Mallorca

Summer is already here and, with it, Mallorca fills with music, parties and loads of fun.

Without going any further, every afternoon from 18h Bierkonig offers the best live music in Mallorca: come jump to the beat of traditional Heinrich tunes, enjoy the rap rhythms of Oli P, and discover the sensuality of our charming friend Mia, among many other performances.

But the rhythm and the music reaches every corner of the island. Here we propose some of the best concerts and events in Mallorca this 2015. Take note!

14 July – Mallorca Roots Festival

The festival will bring the alternative rap band Calle 13, winners of 24 Grammy prizes. The supporting band will be the legendary Skatalites, from Jamaica.

23 July – Buena Vista Social Club Concert

The 2015 tour of the Buena Vista Social Club will come through Mallorca this year to bring us the best rhythms of Cuba. Before going, read up on the interesting history of this mythical group.

4 August – Roger Hodgson tour concert

Roger Hodgson, the legendary voice of Supertramp, will visit the island in August to bring us a taste of the Sixties. Never heard of him? Don’t worry, here is his biography.

21 August – David Guetta

For the second year in a row, David Guetta will visit the island to bring us the latest electronic tunes. The concert will take place in the renowned British holiday area Magalluf.

11-12 September – Solar Fest

Second edition of the main indie rock festival of Mallorca. Although the lineup isn’t yet closed, it already includes famous names such as M. Ward, Glass Animals, or The Vaccines.

As you know, summers are long in Mallorca and in autumn you will still be able to enjoy great events such as an epic Rick Astley concert (26 September) with his “Never gonna give you up” or the spectacular closing of the Mallorca season with the Bierkonig Oktoberfest (8-11 October).

If you want to have a good time this summer, you now know where you have to go.
